After an afternoon of celebrating our local Vernon Women's Institute's celebration for WI's 125th anniversary, the Carleton Country Honey Bees ventured to the Red Dot Cafe in Osgoode for an afternoon drink, a few laughs and to meet a new friend. Gail from Sault Ste. Marie was in the area visiting friends and we had the opportunity to learn more about her and her interests. We were able to share some of the tales from Vernon's storied history.
