WISH CLUE #4 September 2022
Title: Winsome Wanderers

The Winsome Wanderers were not comfortable with the challenge of Clue #4 as presented, as it put all of us beyond our comfort zones. Not wanting to skip the challenge altogether, we decided to modify it slightly while trying to maintain the spirit of the challenge. Nancy invited her friend Emily for coffee and during the lovely get-together, we introduced her to WI Past, Present, and Future.

Although Judy was not available for this gathering (we are all still juggling busy schedules and vacation time), Luanne, Lora and Nancy met with Emily who has shown some interest in WI. Nancy picked her up and we treated her to coffee and muffin at a local coffee spot. We all talked for ninety minutes about various topics including politics, environment, and oh yes - - Women’s Institute. Emily and the others all learned something about WI and were surprised at some of the advocacy we have done in the past. Emily is interested to attend more WI meetings and events (no pressure!)….and we welcome her whenever it works for her. Oops, we forgot to give Emily her bookmark but will do so very soon.
