Mps Colin;CampbeL;"of Goderich.Was the organizer and the meeting was held in the Agricult;%al'Hall on Fall fair Day. The first Presidient was Mrs W.B.Moshier,theASecretary-treasurer was Mrs 5.C0.Cooper.Mrs D.R.McIvor acting as assistant Secretary--treasuror, The average attendance for the first year was about sixteen.At some meetings there would be thirty,at others seven or ten.The meetings were then ofiened with "The Maple Leaf Forever",Domestic Science was their main subject of discussion.It was not long,however before they branched out to something else.lrs Davidson,a bride of the year,gave a demonstra-- '/-~? tion on the making of plain soda biscuits at the first meeting.
