Was President for three different terms, Also convenorships ‘ of the different standing committees and served as branch district director, ere. District president for 2 years, federated representative for 2 years for the district, Area Convenor for Agriculture and Canadian Industries for a term, then in October 1978, I was elected as Board Director for South Renfrew, Subâ€"Division $ 3. I have always been interested in all Community Affairs, the Horton Community Hall and all activities that took place there; dances, socials, suppers, banquets, meetings, Young Peoples‘ meetings etc. We now have a new Sportsâ€"Plex, which has a wellâ€" lighted ball diamond and outdoor rink and a banquet hall. We have skating here; also banguets, dances, weddings and anniversaries, that we as Womens‘ Institute members do the catering to. 1 belong to the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Renfrew and have been very active in it. 1 taught Sunday School for many . years, played the piano for church and Sunday School. I belong € to the Womens‘ Ministries of our church. Also I was President for a few years til I started to work as a Nurses‘ Alde at our local hospital, at which time I had to give up some of my duties in the ghurch. â€"â€" Ethel Collins â€"â€" Mye.
