We k ce o e e k e e k e k e o k l Mrs. Dougherty, the former Frances Alexander Condie, was born in 1861. Her parents . were Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Condie and the family lived on the farm now occupied by Ross Dougherty. She was educated in the Beachburg schools and later on April 13th, 1884 was married to John J. Dougherty. She lived all her life in the Beachburg vicinity. She was a Charter Member of the Beachburg Branch, being the first Viceâ€"President when it was organâ€" ized in 1904. Three children blessed their union; one son, Leslie of Pembroke, Mrs. John A. Brown (Frances), deceased, and Mrs. Alex Barr (Myrtle), also deceased.
