THE METHODIST CHURCH Part Lot 61, Con. B After much hard labour and many personal sacrifices, of time and money, the Congregation moved into their new white frame church on the hill in 1887. It was equipt with a small church organ and very tromiort- able varnished seats, which were handmade. The seating capacity was meant for about fifty people. Services were often held at seven p.m. in those days expecially in summer. Sunday School was usually at two p.m. The records of this old church have been lost. We have little more to say, except with the pictures here on. This church was sold to the school board in 1925, after amalgation with the Presbyterians. c ll E8 ’ " __ . - . ‘ - - t I u I l . g ‘ , ‘ " . IIlt1lllltttle . - - I ‘ V v w ' . ' it , , .
