Interesting History of the Benton House When Hillett Casey (Arthur Casey's father) was living he employed a young man by the name of Tells. This young chap was Mr. Casey's nephew and was a harness maker by trade. During the winter months, while work was slack, he was permitted to make harness in a part of the Casey drivehouse. As time went on the young man decided he wanted to marry Clarissa Sills â€" sister 0f Iilliam and Peter Sills. Money was scare. He could not afford to buy land and erect a house for a bride! He did not know how to meet his problem. M . Casey made a bargin with him. He tOld him that if he would make him a set of harness that he would give him a piece of land where he COUld build a house. Of course. the house was built! Over the years the house and lot have changed hands many times. The home is now OCCUPied by Mr. and Mrs. L.
