JOHN CLARK: avavv‘ur-gyvâ€"«V - .7 -~~ \ WILLIAM STYLES: Served in the 80th Battalion which was the first to be recruited in this district and also the first to go overseas, William Styles was hospitalized several times after the Armistice and died in Belleville in 19A5. He came from England as a child. During World War I Hastings County gave over AOOO men who fought valiantly on all fronts and in all ranks. During World war II Hastings and Irince Edward Counties sent an entire regiment while many others served in the Airforce and the Navy.
