The roll call was the paying of lees. Seven members responded. Correspondence was read and several short courses were chosen which interested the members. The treasurer gave her report which was followed by 'the auditor‘s report. Reports were given by all the conveners. Election of otflcers lollowed, Mrs. Edna Cook remains as President. Mrs. Wilda Gilbert will be Secretary-Treasurer lor the new year. Plans were discussed for the May meeting. Scripture was read by Audrey Hepburn. LImbErlDSl vlsned on the weekend wrth Cathy Cook and helped out at the lestival. »Guests tor the holiday with Fred and Pauline Urbshott were Carol and John Poucher oi London. -Dick and Jean Jones of Lucan called on Lorne and loleen Hepburn and took in the lestival and dance. ~Weekend guests with Lois and Garth Keays at Oxenden were their friends Ron Maybee and Mary DeMoei of Kingston. -Aunt Carrie Caldwell. St. Thomas arrived Thursday to spend Easter with her sister. Elde Hepburn. Wiarton. Aunt Carrie enjoyed the pancakes and syrup in the atiernoon and the good music at the Georgian Bay Ramblers at the dance in the evening. -From Brampton. working hard as usual at our Saturday events were Barb and Morgan Howe and family. They were staying vulh Jim and Doreen Howe and iamin at Hepworth. -Easter Sunday guests with Edythe and Grenville Crawtord were Mrs. Amy Crawiord. Col- poys Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Knight at St, Thomas. By all reports Helen really enloyed her pancakes and browsing through the crafts on sale in the halls Come again next year. .The McKones of Mitchell. Don. Elsie and Darren were here in lull force working and enjoying the lestival. Their guests at their collage were Don Huntsberger and Shelley Henderson. Elsie also sold the winning ticket tor the suit carrier at the W.l, draw to Robert Huntsberger oi Mitâ€" chell. -Chris Doherty. Toronto. enjoyed the Easter holiday with his parents. vVisiting Jack and Willa and Jackie Coveney at their cottage for the weekend were Mr. Bob Fitzsimmons of Mississegua and Miss Elaine Gate at London. Dropping in on them on Satur- day were Mrs. Josie Coveney. Louis. Gary and Stuart and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Kay and grandson Bob all 0! Owen Sound. ~Bob Fitzsimmons was the lucky winner of the gallon ol maple syrup at the W.|, draw, ~Barb Hepburn was home for the Easter holiday and Supervised the display of yarns and weaving for the Yarn Barn set up in the cralt section at the lestlval. Waller had a very lovely display of his silk screen paintings set up at the lestival. We hope they lound it worth while and will consider coming next year. -Easter weekend guests with Bill and Judy Glassford. Tara and Tanya at B. &. G. Farms were Pat and Mike Kalpaca and tamin of Grand Valley. Mary and Russell Kreeger of Inglis» wood. Paul and Kim Burt of Toronto. Steve Burt ot Burling- ton and Brian and Donna Forman of Wasaga Beach. -The McCartney larnlly were all home for the weekend with Helen and the boys. Helen's guests for Saturday supper were Mrs. Wilda Coulter and Hobart oi Rockford. -Saturday evening. Eric Dix and Elaine Harwood and Evelyn and Holly Gill of Tara called on Cliff and Sharon Gilbert and attended the festival dance. -Bruce Gilbert was home trom Barrie for the holidays too. -Blrthday congratulations are in order tor a number of Purple Valley residents. The number oi candles they had on their cakes was not disclosed. The only number I heard was one, one more than last year. Many more happy years are wished to Art Urbshott. Blaine Gilbert.
