CENTENNIXL ACTIVITIF 1967. During Centennial year the members of the Norwood Branch participated in many activities. In Janucry 1967 the menbers supplied handicraft articles to the Peterbcreugh District booth at the sleighâ€"ride party which was held at North Cote Farm, Lakefield. The February meeting was in the forn of a potâ€"luck supper, one member hrs A. Heffeinen nade and decorated a cake depicting Centennial year and the 70th. Anniversary or the Women's Institute. On may :4 Jentenniel Roses were given as favors at the District Annual helo in Lorwood United Churn. On display were two Centennial quilts made ty the Peterborough District and the morwood trench. In June a Blossom Tea and Bake sale was held, a picnic at the Bongards cottage on Stoney Lake in July, also the Peterborough District Picnic at hichols Oval. We attended Teas in Keene and Belwyn when Centennial costumes were worn. Our Lranch entered a decorated wagon in horwood's Centennial Day parade July 87 nembe‘s in costUME and a decorated Clr in the Norwood Fair parade in October and won'first prize Peterborc District Ficnic
