GREY - BRUCE AREA ONTARIO WOMEN’S INSTITUTE BYLAWS 2005 Greyâ€"Bruca Area shall be governed by F.W.I.O. handbook and by the following bylaws. These bylaws shall be renewed in ï¬ve years v3.0a 11. 12. OFFICERS The term of ofï¬ce for the area president and vice president shall not exceed two years. The Area president shall attend or send greetings to each District Annual in the Area at least once during her term of office. W W The Area executive shall consist of past president, presidentpsecretary, treasurer. PRO. and AreaVoting Delegate. The Area executive will hold two meetings each year to plan the annual convention and transact business. The ï¬rst meeting to be held the fourth Saturday in April and the second meeting the fourth Saturday in June. The nominating committee shall be comprised of Area Past President, District Presidents and Area Voting Delegate. CONVENTION The convention shall be held alternately in the Districts of Grey North, Bruce, Grey South with each District providing a place of meeting by rotation. 2006 â€" Grey North 2009 â€" Grey North 2007 â€" Bruce 2010 â€" Bruce 2008 â€" Grey South Three convention committee members one of whom shall be chairperson, shall be appointed at District Annual preceeding the year in which the District hosts the convention. All expenses incurred shall be paid by the District, except hall rental and speakers honorarium, which are paid by the Area. The Area fees shall be $1200 per member per year. Honorarium for Secretary and Treasurer shall be $75200 each per year. . Mileage to two executive meetings shall be paid to the executive. Mileage to special meetings shall be paid at the discetion of the executive. Mileage to the convention shall be paid to president, Secretary, Treasurer and Area Voting Delegate. Banquet tickets shall be given to Area president, Secretary, Treasurer, Area Voting Delegate, plus two to Simcoe Area, two to Guelph Area, two to London Area, Speaker,Board Director and Provincial President. Mileage shall be paid at the rate of 25 cents per km. @ v e r)
