- November 1960 - GREEK PRIVATE HOSPITAL SOLD Mr. and Mrs. George Newbold of Toronto have purchased the Greer Private Hospital in Lucknow from Mr. and Mrs. Harold Greer. They obtain possession on December lst. Mrs. Newbold is a registered nurse. She is the former Mary Fisher of Lucknow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fisher who are pres- ently residing in Hamilton. INSTAL VAULT - RENOVATE BANK Installation of a new vault and other renovations to the Bank of Montreal's Luck- now branch will be completed this week-end, Milton Rayner, the manager, has announced. The large new vault area, measuring some 132 square feet, has also allowed the exten- sion of the counter and the installation of an additional teller's wicket, making a total of three. Equipped with a three-ton door, the new steel- and reinforced-concrete vault has been install- ed to improve and enlarge the safekeeping fac- ilities of the branch, Mr. Rayner said. A private coupon booth, for safety-dc ositbox customers, will be located close to t e new vault. Contractor in charge of the project was A.J. Brown, of Walkerton.
