These records are intended to be a comprehensive account of rural community life and not just a record of the local Institute‘s Activities and member histories. Conununlry members are asked to become Active donors of family, farm and house lu‘slories. We would like biographies of families and aniss and craï¬spersons as well as records of all sons including maps and photographic memorabilia. Copies would he made if donors would like to keep the originals, Some organization, building and family histories have already been compiled in the Old Buckhom Women‘s institute Tweodsmuir History Book (now at the Buekhnm Library) and by The Greater Hervey Historical Society in their records and in the History book of the area.
