They included: 1. requesting the Ontario Minister of Transportation to reinstate the com» plete construction of the four-lane highway (Highway 416) from Ottawa to Highway 401 by the year 2000; 2. urging the Federal Minister of Culture and Communications responsible for the National Library to seek a change to the National Library Act that will alleviate the ï¬nancial burden on the . National Library; 3, requesting the Federal Govemmentof Canada to enact legislation that will restructure current deductions for child care expenses into one child care beneï¬t to allow families to make a choice in child care; 4. pressuring the Ontario Government to allow the test burn to go ahead at the St. Mary's Cement Co. as previously planned and agreed to in 1990; petitioning the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations, the Minâ€" istry of the Attorney General, the Ministry of the Solicitor General and the Ontario Film Review Board to establish uniform guidelines on “ob- scenity“ within Ontario that conform with the criminal code of Canada; 6‘ petitioning the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations to estab» lish an “Ontario Film Review Board (OFRB) Sticker Identiï¬cation Sys- tem“ for all videos classiï¬ed and released for distribution in Ontario, which would incorporate: a) the OFRB classiï¬cation of F, PG, AA and R. b) and, detailed information on all videos where warnings are warranted in type size oneâ€"third the size of the movie title, AND FURTHER, to require the cost of the Sticker Identiï¬cation System to be borne by the producers and/or disâ€" tributors of videos and incorporated into the fee structure presently paid to the province for OFRB review; 7‘ requesting the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training to reinstate or retain the Family Studies Program (Home Economics) with increased Ln 4 Home E.
