Guelph Area Wl Bolsover WI, Victoria West This Branch recently viewed an interesting video - “Dr. Woman, Elizabeth Bagshaw" - about a pioneer doctor from the Woodville~ Cannington area They also planted a maple tree on the grounds ofthe Bolsover Commue nity Centre where their meetings are held. Derry West WI, Peel South In November. this Branch sponsored a luncheon and euehre party to raise money for the Headquarters Fund. Residents ofthe local Brampton community were invited to participate. Thanks to food donations by Branch mem- bers, $250 was raised in a simple, fun way. Dufterin South District WI DuringWornen’sHistory Month, this District set up a display depicting the history of the Women‘s Institute. A special pro- gram at the Museum included a presentation on “Famous Women of Dufi‘erin County."
