The proceeds go to local organizations, the FWIO Headquarters Fund and the London Children ’5 Hospital. The Grand Bend WI also participated in the Breast Cancer Guilt Show In Stratford. Several of their members are talented quilt makers, so they made a quilt - they stiched. they smiled, they socialized. PFtO Mary Burr Honoured for her Efforts Ciaehan WI member Mary Barr was inducted into the Kent Agricultural Hall or Fame last October. Mary was born in Norwich County and lived in Simone until 1545 when she married her husband George. She [oined her first Women '5 Institute Branch in 1939 at the age of 18. She has held numerous positions at various levels at the organization, including Branch Secretary and President. District Director and Provincial Board Director. in 1573, Mary was honoured with a Life Membership. She loves to travel, quilt and cook, Clachan Wi members are proud at her receiving this deserved award.
