Closing of the Home Economics Section of the Library For a number of reasons, the major ones being: the difficulty of keeping the material continously updated; the loss of the services or a fu||»time librarian. and er- ratic postal services. The home economics section of the loan library will no longer be available to mem- bers of FWIO. The Home Economics Branch staff will be retaining some of the research material in their in- dividual offices for reference purposes, so rest assured that nothing valuable will be destroyed. Since there has been a marked drop in the use of the loan library during the past two years. it is felt that it has outlived much of its usefulness.
