Zoeilcr Twentyâ€"four sustained resolutions were han- dled from the 1971 Area Conventions. Many were reworded without changing the intent by the Committee and these changes were recom- mended to the Provincial Board for consid- eration at the Semi-Annual Meeting in the Spring of 1972. Fifteen resolutions were sustained. eight lost and two were identicai in thOught, so were handled as one. All resolutions sustained by the Board were sent on to the authorities as directcd. From answers received, a short report was sent to the ten Area Resolutions Convcncrs who sub- mitted resolutions. In turn they were requested to include the information in their Area re ports. All fourteen Conveners received letters and assistance during the year from the Provincial Convener, as well as the Report of Resolutions and the Outline. It was rewarding to lead that from real situi ations and local concerns many Branches have used “rcmlutions†as a tool to request action.
