The Director reported that in the Institute year just ended 70 Leaders' Training Schools were held with 720 leaders attending and 5.525 women participating in the projects. 405 Short Courses were given with a total attendance of 6.194. Miss McKercher expressed her apprecia- tion of what the Women’s Institutes are doing for the girls” 4-H Homemaking Club program, both in finding leaders and in giving the girls their support and encouragement. There are nineteen different projects or “club units" open to the girls now in Food and Nutrition, Clothâ€" ing. Home Furnishing, Hospitality, Gardening, Citizenship and Health.
