The first is set in 1895 Victorian Toronto, featuring detective William Murdoch. The Murdoch Mysteries television series, broadcast by CBC is into its ninth season. Maureen has written for the show for the past four years and is the creative consultant. ‘-“-â€" The second series featuring criminal profiler, Christine Morris, has been purchased by Shaftsbury Films for possible future development.
